Rusty Birds FAQs
Hours of Operation:
Regular business hours are 9am to 3pm PST Monday through Friday. We do not have a showroom at our facility, but we do have a warehouse in Vancouver, Washington. If you would like to come by and shop, we will do our best to accommodate you. Please call 360.573.1055 or toll-free 888.995.0648 to make an appointment.
We hand-craft our products with pride from high-grade steel, and rust them individually by hand for that endearing shabby chic look. Our main line features a narrow tab on the bottom with holes for screws or nails for attachment to a fence post, tree branch, bird feeder, windowsill, even a door frame, fireplace mantel, or a bookshelf—wherever one desires a touch of personality and whimsy in their garden or home. We also design yard stakes, wall art, and other home and garden decor.
We generally ship orders via USPS or UPS within 7 business days.
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your order, you can send back any item in its original unused condition for a refund or exchange. Items must be received back at our warehouse within 30 days of receipt of initial shipment.
We recommend shipping via FedEx, UPS, or USPS with insurance and required a signature to: 7318 NE 110th Street, Vancouver, WA 98662. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items upon return shipment.
If you are requested an exchange, please indicate in the shipment what you would like in exchange.
Refunds (if applicable):
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 business days. The cost of the original shipping charge will be deducted from your refund.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
As long as you call us before your order has shipped, we'll be happy to process a cancellation.
Privacy: Your privacy is important to us. We provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. Please take the time to read it so that you can know how we treat your personal information.
Postal Addresses: Once you make a purchase, request a catalog or other information from RustyBirds.com, your name, shipping/mailing addresses, and contact information are included in our customer file. Addresses and contact information are retained and used to insure a quick, efficient flow of product and services. Postal addresses are never shared, rented, sold or traded to third parties.
Email Addresses: If you supply us with your email address, it will be included in our customer files. Email addresses are regularly used to contact customers regarding orders or other transactions. Email addresses are never shared, rented, sold or traded to third parties.
Website Security: We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online.
Electronic Communications: When you visit RustyBirds.com or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Furthermore, we at Elegant Garden Design, Inc. and RustyBirds.com are free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in any communication you send to us for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to developing, manufacturing and marketing products using such information. However, because we have integrity, we will ask your permission first.
