Fat Chickadee Tab

Our Fat Chickadee metal silhouette reflects the pudgy look these songbirds take on at the end of a chilly day. In winter, chickadees eat throughout the day to bulk up on body fat, burning it overnight to maintain their body temperature — a resourceful habit that also happens to make them even more endearing.

Made of recycled steel and pre-treated for our signature rusted texture, this piece echoes the rust-toned hues found naturally in many chickadee feathers. It's a charming accent for a windowsill, fence post, or pedestal display indoors. It mounts easily with a 90° angled tab and pre-drilled screw holes, and the wing can be gently folded outward to add lifelike dimension.
